Myrtle Whitt, 93, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon.
Myrtle was born February 24th, 1930, in Phelps, KY to Lon and Nann {McCoy} Stiltner.
She married Luther Whitt in Virginia, and they lived together for about 15 years before he passed away.
Myrtle worked in factories most of her life, and for Mazza’s for a short time. She liked to travel to Florida and back, but especially shopping, gardening flowers, and yardwork.
Myrtle will be deeply missed by her five living; children Nancy Lee (Garcil) Sanders, Bobby L. Davis, Wilma Sue (Daniel M.) Harris, Donald (Diane) Davis, Gary Douglas (Earlene) Davis; scads of grandchildren just everywhere; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her daughter Juanita Davis (infant) and son David Gene Davis, several brothers and sisters as well as her parents.
The family and friends will have a time to meet and visit at 2:00 pm on February 24th, 2024. At Mrs Whitt's home - 1 Eastgate Dr. Mount Vernon, OH 43050
