Reverend Myung Ho Yoon, 94 of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away peacefully in his home on July 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving children, grandchildren. Pastor Yoon's mother, Young Sil, passed away when he was just 3 years old, but he continually remembered and honored her throughout his life.
He was born on February 12, 1930 in Pyongyang City, South Pyongan Province and immigrated to the United States on July 24, 1970 for the purpose of serving Korean immigrants to live a life of faith.
Proud to be a Korean-American, he proudly displayed both the Korean and American flags with an immense love for our country. His love of God, Family, Friends and Food (in this order) sums up what he valued, cherished and loved the most.
His passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him well, with his ever present smile and unique sense of humor.
He is predeceased by his wife, Kyung Sil (Lee), who tragically passed away on March 30, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
