Memorial service for Nada Crouch, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Peerless Baptist Church. Fellowship and food will continue after the service until 7:00 p.m. Ms. Crouch passed away at her home on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Nada Claudene Crouch was born on April 19, 1940 in Cooper, Texas to Elmer L. and Claudie (Killibrew) Holmes. She married Carrell Crouch in Commerce, Texas on July 27, 1956. Nada was a member of the Peerless Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #246 and was the first woman elected to the North Hopkins School Board. Nada worked in the office of the North Hopkins Water Supply for many years.
Nada is survived by her daughter, Cindy Parkinson (Chris) of Heath, Texas; son, Andy Crouch (Linda) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son, Richard Crouch (Sandy) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and daughter, Rhonda Orren (Joe) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Mindy Torres (Timo), Holly Steward, Brandi Crouch (Launa), Leslie Crouch, Jace Orren (Chanda), Cody Crouch (Hannah), Chelsey Torres (Daniel), and Emily Orren (Austin); great-grandchildren, Landon Burkett, Maverick Torres, Tessa Torres, Ashton Steward, August Steward, Rhyin Torres, Whitley Torres, Cephis Torres, Jackson Orren, Charlie Landers, and Paisley Landers; sisters, Margaret Eudy and Judy Petty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrell Crouch; parents, Elmer and Claudie Holmes; brother, Elmer Joe Holmes; and sisters, Dorothy Pennix, Marie Lowery, and Betty Brewer.
