Nadja Bajramovic (née Glušac)
April 8, 1958 – March 28, 2025
Dr. Nadja Bajramovic, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Glenview, Illinois. Born on April 8, 1958, in Živinice, Bosnia and Herzegovina, she is survived by her husband, Armin Bajramovic; her children, Azer, Nedim, and Azra; and her grandchildren, Jack and Tom.
Nadja and Armin shared a love filled with laughter, respect, and unwavering support. They married in 1983 while she was training as a pulmonologist, building a life together through both triumphs and challenges. In the early 1990s, war forced them to leave their home and careers, leading them from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany and eventually to the United States. Despite these hardships, Nadja's passion for helping others never wavered. She remained a source of wisdom, kindness, and strength, always offering guidance, humor, and care to those around her.
With a generous heart and a deep commitment to giving back, Nadja supported numerous charities, including Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Jude's, Ronald McDonald House, and organizations for veterans.
A memorial service will be held on April 3, 2025, at Matz Mount Prospect Funeral Chapel to honor her life. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by burial at Wheeling Township Arlington Heights Cemetery.
Nadja's strength, warmth, and generosity will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
