Nahida Dabit

Nahida Anki Dabit, age 68, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on April 11, 2024. Nahida was born on March 6, 1956 to Issa and Zuhour Anki. Nahida was born in Amman, Jordan and lived most of her adult life in Middle Tennessee surrounded by family and friends.

She attended church at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She loved to travel, loved to cook, and loved her grandchildren with all her heart.

Nahida was preceded in death by her father, Issa Anki. Nahida is survived by her husband of 49 years Farah Dabit; her children, Tony (Tammy) Dabit, Tommy (Suha) Dabit, Hana (Jeannette) Dabit, Leaza (Larry) Claybrooks, and Chris (Gina) Dabit; as well as her mother, Zuhour Anki; siblings, Hanna (Maire) Anki, Victor (Lamis) Anki, Sultaneh (Issa) Kassissieh, Vera Dabit, Madlen Haddad, Lamis (Jeries) Husari, and Ramez (Sana) Anki; and grandchildren, Justin, Nadia, Natalie, Noah, Amira, Amari, Jordyn, Aaliyah, Alexandra, and Yara.

Pallbearers will be Tony Dabit, Tommy Dabit, Hana Dabit, Chris Dabit, Justin Dabit, Salim Husari, Phillip Husari, and Randy Kassissieh.

The viewing will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) on Wednesday, April 17 from 3-6 pm followed by a Mercy Meal at Lighthouse on the Lake (133 Sanders Ferry Road, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) from 6-9 pm. The funeral service for Nahida will be on Thursday, April 18 beginning at 1:00 pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4905 Franklin Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37220) with burial immediate after the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). A Mercy Meal will follow at Lighthouse on the Lake (133 Sanders Ferry Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075) from 5:30-9 pm.
