In Loving Memory of Najwa Antone

Najwa Antone was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was born in Baghdad, Iraq, on January 11, 1948. In 1971, she graduated from the College of Commerce and went on to serve as an accountant in a government institution for 15 years.

She married the love of her life, Nadeem, on November 11th, 1971, and together they shared a beautiful journey of love, devotion, and unwavering commitment that lasted for decades. Their marriage was a true partnership, built on respect and deep affection.

Najwa was the proud mother of three children and the cherished grandmother of six. In 1991, she came to the United States, where she embraced a new life defined by sacrifice, resilience, and, above all, love for her family. She had a gift for bringing people together-her joy was found in cooking and gathering everyone around her table, creating memories filled with warmth and laughter.

Those who knew Najwa will remember her as the embodiment of kindness and generosity. Her life was one of selflessness, care, and quiet strength, always placing her family at the center of everything she did.

On October 3, 2025, Najwa passed away peacefully at the hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those she touched, a legacy of love that will never fade

She is survived by her husband Nadeem Antone, her son Taimor Antone (Heba), her daughter Tara Garmo (Wisam), her son Fadi Antone (Ereka), her brother Riyadh Albanna (late Najla), her brother Bassam Albanna (Rehab) and six grandchildren Pierre Antone, Aiden Antone, Lance Garmo, Luke Garmo, Elias Antone, Isaac Antone.

Funeral Arrangements: Resurrection mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 10:00 am.
