Nancy began her career working at the Census Bureau in Suitland Maryland until she met her husband, the late Wesley Jackson (Jay) Adams. In 1957 they began selling and installing storm doors and windows. As the business grew, they added the installation of fences and decks and established Clinton Fence Co.
