Nancy Christine Ashe was born on February 27, 1943 to Mabel Palmer in Valentines, Virginia.
She retired from Motorola and served as an usher at Zion Rest Baptist Church.
Nancy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cheops Court 182, and the past deputy for the Oasis of Austin. She traveled the world with her husband while he was in the Air Force. She loved living in England. She enjoyed going on cruises with her family and other places in the states and foreign countries.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Nathaniel Ashe, and son Nathan Ashe.
Nancy is survived by: daughter Regina Ashe (Georgia); grandson Harry Ashe (Austin, TX); three sisters Margaret Davis (Roanoke, VA), Geraldine Ashe (Norman/Austin, TX), Fannie Palmer (New York); goddaughters Karen Busch (Arizona) and Aritha McLain (Austin, TX); godson Lee Brown (Pat/Ft. Worth, TX).
