Nancy C. Baltz

Nancy C. Baltz, age 87, of Tripoli, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her home under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. Nancy was born in Spirit, WI, on September 14, 1937, to the late Gust and Mabel (Larson) Johnson.

Nancy was a 1955 graduate of the Prentice High School. Following high school, she moved to California for a brief time before moving to the Milwaukee area where she worked as a secretary with Travelers Insurance; retiring after 25 years of employment. Returning to her roots, Nancy then settled in Tripoli to be closer to family. With her outgoing personality, it was only fitting that she helped her brothers as a bartender at "The Coach" in Ogema and "The Falls Inn" in Spirit Falls. Nancy was a faithful member and devoted volunteer at the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Never sitting still, Nancy loved shopping and socializing; her kindness and community spirit drew friends wherever she went. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Brian (Jennifer) Baltz, of Mercer, WI, and Douglas Baltz, of Colgate, WI; her daughter, Georgine Baltz, of West Bend, WI; and her brother, Jim (Lynn) Johnson, of Spirit, WI. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Rachel, Lance, John, Kevin, Ryan, and Bradley, in addition to her five great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gust and Mabel; her son, Jerry Baltz; her brothers, Carl (Eileen) Johnson, Curtis (Florence "Toots") Johnson, Ronald (Susie) Johnson, and Jack (Linda) Johnson; and her sisters, Donna (Jack) Norman and Marilyn Johnson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Generations Funeral Home. Rev. Lisa Weaver will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at the Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
