Joyce Ann (Dekkenga) Haskins, age 79, a resident of Ogema, WI, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at Country Terrace, in Rhinelander, WI. She was born on September 10, 1946, in Iowa, to parents Willis and Sebena Dekkenga. She graduated from Prentice High School.
Joyce married Gene Haskins on January 22, 1966. She worked at State Bank of Medford and Mid-Wisconsin Bank for many years. She was an active member of Ogema Baptist Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson: Jesse Haskins. She is survived by her husband: Gene Haskins; children: Barbara Haskins, Dale (Desi) Haskins, Kay Sue (Terry) Belan, Heather (Mike) Rustick; grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Brereton, Kyle (Kylee) Belan, Levi (Reagan) Haskins, Kyle (Anna) Rustick, Derek (Rachel) Rustick; great-grandchildren: Luke Brereton, Aria and Ronen Belan, Vince, Bo, Daniel, and Ezra Haskins, Evelyn and Grace Rustick, Myles and Claire Rustick; siblings: Dan (Sandy) Dekkenga; and many other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:30 am at Ogema Baptist Church in Ogema, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery following services.
