Nancy Lee Polasek Belmonte, born on January 2, 1935, in Pontiac, Michigan, peacefully passed away on January 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late George and Georgiana LaLonde Polasek and one of six siblings.
A faithful member of the Gulf Shore Congregation in Naples, Florida, Nancy was a social butterfly who found joy in connecting with everyone she encountered. Her infectious smile, which adorned her face from ear to ear, illuminated any room she entered. Nancy embraced the simple pleasures of life, often enjoying good company with a drink in hand having a joyous conversation.
Left to honor and remember her are her children: Anthony (Shannon) Belmonte, Jeremy (Michele) Belmonte, Linda Radford, and John Haag; stepdaughter: Joann (Gary) Skupa; and sister: Suzanne (Michael) Zack. Nancy's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jessica, Andriana, Brandon, Ashli, Richard, Edward, Ryan, Jennifer, Brianna, and Austin, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Belmonte, son, Steven Belmonte, and brothers: George, Raymond, Daniel, and Michael Polasek. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her warm presence will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
