Nancy Betts Obituary

She was born in 1957 to parents, Charles and Marge Taylor in East Peoria Illinois. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marge; and brother, Ron. She is survived by husband, Ed; sons, Taylor, John, Cole; and several grandchildren.
Nancy attended East Peoria High school graduating in 1975 and worked at Caterpillar before retiring in 2006. Nancy actively promoted bowling in Peoria serving on the Peoria River City USBC board and was inducted into the Peoria Bowling Hall of Fame in 2018. She served as the secretary for several leagues and supported youth bowling in Peoria as a coach and secretary. She was passionate in creating custom sewing and embroidery projects and making extraordinary quilts. She enjoyed spending time with family, grandkids, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Hawley Bowl in Peoria Illinois on Monday, August 12 from 3 to 8 pm. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
