Passed away surrounded by her family on February 10, 2024 at the age of 79. She was born in North East, MD on January 18, 1945 to parents, Fred and Helen Blomquist. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred Johnston; brothers, Robert Blomquist, Johnny Bloomquist; and sisters, Joan Nacman, Marion Wicht, and Ann Davis. Survived by her children Don (Janette) Johnston, Sandra (Keith) Comstock, Steve (Kay) Johnston, Gary (Jeanine) Johnston, Paul (Valerie) Johnston, Amy (Matthew) Halberg, Patty (Glen) Bellikka, Shelly Johnston, Alisa Hanson, Lianne (Brad) Lobbestael and Gina (Aaron) Korpela; siblings, Neil (Irma) Blomquist, Kathleen (Ray) Hendrickson, Grace Davis, and Charles (Carolyn) Blomquist; 57 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church-Woodland Park, 3730 Martin Rd, Duluth. A Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 6-8pm at Church and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Duluth Cemetery.
