Nancy J. Breneman passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 5, 2025, in Avon, Ohio. Born on January 1, 1939, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Nancy's life was a testament to the power of nurturing and the beauty of family bonds. She was the cherished wife of the late James E. Breneman, a devoted mother to Kim d'Acunzo (Marc) and Nicole Breneman (Anil), and a proud grandmother to John, Julianne, and Tulin. Nancy was also a dear sister to Phyllis Ameigh and was predeceased by her parents, Clinton and Greta Goward, her brother Norman (Irene), and her sister Gerry (Don) Henderson.
Nancy's journey began in the town of North Easton, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Oliver Ames High School and later worked for the Edison Company. Nancy's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family. Her pride in her family was evident to all who knew her, and she shared a special bond with her siblings that remained strong throughout her life.
As her children grew, Nancy's nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of her own home. She became a cherished figure in the lives of many other families, stepping in to care for their children with the same love and attention she gave her own.
Nancy's interests reflected her appreciation for the simple joys of life. She had a passion for gardening, finding solace in the rhythm of nature and the beauty of the earth's bounty. Animals held a special place in her heart, and she inspired those around her to pause and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us every day.
Nancy was loving, nurturing, kind, and friendly. She had a smile and laugh that could light up a room and a presence that brought comfort to those in her company.
Nancy's legacy is one of love, care, and the enduring strength of family. Her memory will be held dear in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her and be loved by her. As we say goodbye to Nancy J. Breneman, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a spirit that will continue to guide and inspire us. Her journey on this earth may have ended, but her impact will resonate for generations to come.
