Cherry Valley, Ohio - Nancy Lou Campbell, age 87, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1937, in Hubbard, Ohio, the daughter of Lula Mae (Rosenberger) and George William Hollabaugh. She worked for Kay Dee Manufacturing of Orwell, Ohio for over ten years and then retired from the workforce to help run the family farm. Nancy's journey through life was characterized by her unwavering faith and love for her family.
Nancy married Albert Lee Campbell on June 28, 1986, and began her time in Cherry Valley. She formerly resided in North Bloomfield, and Johnston, Ohio. Nancy attended the Pymatuning Christian Church and several other local churches. Gardening, canning, and sewing were how she enjoyed spending her time, along with reading, especially her Bible, and hosting family parties and picnics.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of twenty-one years, Albert; her daughter, Patricia Siciliano; her brother, William Hollabaugh; granddaughter, Rachel Sloan; two infant great-grandsons, Simon and Wyatt; two step-sons, Dennis and Duane Campbell and her brother-in-law, Richard Shipman. Survivors include her twelve children; Michael (Jeanine) Sloan of Johnston, Ohio, Sherry (John) Greco of Atwater, Ohio, Karen (Brian) Torrijas of Austintown, Ohio, Robert (Terry) Sloan of New Lyme, Ohio, Colleen (Tucker) Silver of Windom, Ohio, Gary (Juli) Sloan of New Lyme, Ohio, Joel (Julie) Sloan of Warren, Ohio, Brian (Julie) Sloan of Bristolville, Ohio, Jonathan (Lori) Sloan of Kinsman, Ohio, David (Alycia) Sloan of Diamond, Ohio, James (Christina) Sloan of Sunbury, Ohio, Stephen (Sara) Sloan of Pulaski, Pennsylvania; her step-Son, Garvin (Leslie) Campbell of West Virginia; her sister, Denise Shipman of Middlefield, Ohio; 93 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and she was a shining example of grace and love to all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, at 1:00 PM at the Mecca Barn, 6454 State Route 46, Cortland, Ohio, 44410. Private burial will be in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
