Nancy M. Carl, 66, of Liberty Twp., Montour Co., passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at her home.

Born September 15, 1959 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Helen I. (Hagenbuch) Styer. On July 14, 1979 she married Harry E. Carl and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Nancy was a personal caregiver for many people in the local area. Her main focus was to rescue as many dogs as possible over the years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and canning.

In addition to her husband, Harry, she is survived by three daughters: Melissa (Robert Jr.) Berkheimer, of Danville, Amy (Anthony) Bostian, of Riverside, and Jessica Young, of Danville; six grandchildren: Robert Berkheimer III, Brayden Berkheimer, Jace Bostian, Ellyana Bostian; Sean Young, and Aaron Young; one great-grandchild: Ozirus Bostian; one brother: James (Mary) Styer, of Turbotville; one sister: Paulla Kostelnick, of Milton; and one niece: Patricia Tracey, of Dillsburg.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Styer.

There will be a memorial service held at 11:00 AM on Monday October 6, at Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 483 Oak Grove Rd, Danville, PA 17821, with Pastor Dennis Berkheimer, officiating.
