Ruth J. Wolfe, 80, of Limestone Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her home.

Born March 27, 1945 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Frank W. and Fannie E. (Billhime) Shultz. On June 4, 1966 she married John F. Wolfe and together they celebrated 44 years of marriage until his passing on January 29, 2011.

Ruth was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School, afterwards she then worked and retired from American Home Foods in Milton. She was a member of Washingtonville Lutheran Church. Ruth enjoyed gardening and loved watching her flowers grow.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and was loved by all. Ruth will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.

Ruth is survived by her two daughters: Lorie A. Derrick and her husband Roy, and Pamela S. Ebersole and her husband William; two grandchildren: Elizabeth (John Welch) Ross, and Karen (Noah Smith) Derrick; five step-grandchildren: Abby and Makayla Ebersole, Wesley Derrick, Mariah and Christin Deshazo; five great-grandchildren: Owen, Trenton, Zander, Olivia, and Aria; three brothers: Charles, Wayne "Buck", and Bill Shultz; and three sisters: Mable Shultz, Jean Longenberger, and Margaret Koons.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her four sisters: Judy Lutz, Delores Nuss, Eleanor Crawford, and Elizabeth Fronk.

There will be a viewing held from 6-8PM on Wednesday, August 27, and 10-11AM on Thursday, August 28 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where a funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Lutheran Cemetery.
