Joseph H. Emerick, 76, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Born February 5, 1949 in Duboistown, he was a son of the late Ralph E. and Elizabeth (Martin) Emerick. On July 2, 1988 he married the former Brenda Summers and together they celebrated 37 years of marriage.

Joe served honorably in the US Marines, and worked for West Rock Company later retiring after many years loyal and dedicated service. Earlier in life he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and more recently loved traveling with Brenda.

He loved being with his family and friends. Joe was a very loving husband and a great man who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by his sons: Joseph E. Emerick and his wife Angela, of Hughesville, and Heath Gray, of Williamsport; two grandchildren: Riley and Nolan Emerick; one brother: Gene Emerick; and three sisters: Donna Moyer, Peg Reed, and Katharine Frame.

Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by four brothers: Richard "Dick", Robert "Bob", John, and Theodore "Butch" Emerick; two sisters: Margaret "Sis" DeWitt and Patricia Long; and his first wife: Regina McFadden.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services held.
