Nancy Lee Delay

Nancy Lee Delay, age-76, passed away December 2, 2022 in Epping, NH after a period of declining health. She was born September 13, 1946 in Amesbury, MA, daughter of the late Alfred Francoeur and Beulah Leone (Seacard) Francoeur.
Nancy grew up in New England and then in the State of California where she graduated high school and attended college. She was one of five children in her family. In her early years, Nancy worked at a bakery where she decorated cookies. Later, she worked in housekeeping for the Exeter Hospital and the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. She met the love of her life, William J. Delay Jr in the 1970's and they were together for over 40 years and happily married until his passing away on June 11, 2019. Nancy was a strong minded woman with energy to galore. She enjoyed making quilts, crafting and coloring animal art. Nancy was very fond of animals, especially dogs and cats.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was predeceased by siblings, George Francouer and Beulah Brochu.
She is survived by her sisters, Lois Francoeur Greenlaw and Carol McCusker, and many nieces and nephews.
Per Nancy's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
