Nancy M. Duff, 72 of Le Grand, Iowa, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Born Nancy Marie Ash on March 8, 1953 in Fayette, Iowa, she was the youngest of five children born to Alfred and Melva (Margroff) Ash. She moved to Le Grand in 1968, graduating from LDF High School with the class of 1971. In December of 1973, she was united in marriage to Freddie “Fred” Duff and they were blessed with one daughter. Nancy worked for many years at Diamond Vogel and later Meskwaki Casino, where she dedicated several years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed watching TV and sports, especially the Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye basketball. Family meant the world to Nancy, and she loved watching her family continue to grow over the years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter: Dawn (Nathan) Walton of Le Grand; three grandchildren: Lane (Whitney), Ean (Riley) and Logan Walton; two great-grandchildren: Colson and Maggie, as well as twins on the way; four siblings: Carolyn Hatle, Marlene (Ron) Baker, Sharon (Kenny) Hoover and Richard (Pat) Ash; and her beloved pet, Lily.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents: Alfred and Melva; and brother-in-law: Rodney Hatle.
