Nancy Darlene Elmore (49) was born to the late Thomas and Nancy Elmore in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 29, 1972. As a young girl she would fill the room with joy with her vibrant smile and contagious laugh. Nancy was a free-spirited, fun-loving teenager who started her extraordinary adult life just shy of 18, after welcoming her first child. With a heart and passion so big, she shortly fell deeply in love with the man who would become the stepfather to her son and father of her three girls. Nancy loved her family with all her heart and that love remains core to who her children have become today.
As a caregiver, she was blessed with a kind soul and a large network of family and friends. There are sweet memories of Nancy playing cards and enjoying time with her brothers, always following what they did because she adored them so much. There are even more fond memories of her shopping and eating Chinese food with her sisters and mom or playing bingo with her girlfriends. Her favorite pastimes were to go to yard sales, shop at the little store, and bring smiles to everyone's hearts with here generous acts of kindness.
Nancy was a lover at heart, too. In finding new love with her life-long fiancé after divorce, she regained happiness and got to continue enjoying life as only she would have it. She always had a dynamic personality. As a friend she stuck to her word. As a woman she fought her demons, braved through challenges, pushed through defeat, and left a beautiful legacy of love and joy. Nancy will forever be missed by all that she loved and loved her.
She is survived by her fiancé, Bill; her son, Branden; her daughters, Ashley, Meagan, and Pacia; her stepdaughter, Angel; her grandbabies, Jaylin, Blake, Novalyn, Lennon, Kyla Mae, Lathan, Devon, Anthony, and Adin; her brothers, Bill, Tommy, and Frank; her sister, Beth; her sister-in-law, Carol; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Timmy; her big sister, Kathy; and her parents.
