Nancy A. "Tonello" Gable

Nancy A. Gable – Methuen, MA

Nancy A Gable, age 86 of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA on Sunday July 27, 2025.

Born in Winthrop, MA on March 1, 1939, she was the beloved daughter of the late Guido and Evelyn (Neskey) Tonello.

Nancy retired from Abel Womack Inc, formally Robert Abel Co, as a Parts Correspondent Manager after serving more than 30 years with the company.

She enjoyed line dancing, cooking, and watching endless hours of QVC. She loved nature's creatures, especially watching the hummingbirds outside her porch window. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially at Christmas. She was a very devoted mother, always there when you needed her. One of her favorite things to do with her grandchildren, was to take them for their annual visit to the Stone Zoo, mini golf, and ice cream of course.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Gary M and his wife, Catherine of Methuen and Gail M and her husband, Don Savard of Pelham, NH, granddaughters, Christianna E Gable Amanda and her husband TJ Myers and Melina M Gable and several cousins. She also leaves behind her precious pup, Katie.

The family would like to thank the staff at High Pointe House for their care and compassion in the final hours.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10am – 11:30am at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Her funeral service will begin at 11:30am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
