Paul Gable Obituary

Paul I. Gable Jr., age 73, of Harleysville, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Grand View Hospital's Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Anne K. Ogden-Gable, with whom he shared over 23 years of marriage. Born May 3, 1952, in Abington, he was the only child of the late Paul I. and Marion Lois (Ely) Gable. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman and involved in shooting sports at several gun clubs; Souderton - Harleysville, Boulder Valley, Upper Perkiomen Valley, Lower Providence, Marion Rod and Gun, Lower Pottsgrove, Swamp Creek and North Penn Gun Club. He participated in black powder muzzle loading with Whispering Pines Cap and Flint Club, Boulder Valley Muzzle Loaders, Boyertown Muzzle Loaders in addition to the Pennsylvania Federation of Black Powder Shooters and a Life Member of the NRA. Paul was employed by North Wales Water Authority for 34 years prior to retiring. Paul had a dry sense of humor, loved stock cars and the racing sports; having driven his own car at Grand View Speedway. He loved being outdoors and in nature. In addition to his wife Anne, Paul is survived by his children Charles R. Gable of Gettysburg, Jordan Gable of Maryland, Jennifer Burgmeier and her husband Thomas of Green Lane; grandchildren Nicholas and Levi Gable, Luke, Jackson and Brooke Burgmeier. A memorial service for Paul will be scheduled at a later date.
