Nancy was born in Portsmouth, NH to Rose (Boulanger) and Donald Gerry on September 24, 1958.

Nancy graduated from R. W. Traip Academy, Class of 1976. She went on to study Childcare Management at ICS (International Correspondence School). She made her forever home in Kittery, ME, where she raised her daughter, Emily.

Nancy was employed at Kittery Trading Post, Watts Fluid Air, KB Toy Store and Manager at Movie Gallery. She became a member of KCAP (Kittery Chemical Awareness and Prevention Non-Profit Organization), and volunteered at the KYC (Kittery Youth Connection); which brought her lots of joy connecting with all the children.

Nancy's faith and family were very important to her. Her quote was "God, Family, Friends, and animals were always there for her when she needed them." She was a member of The First Congregational Church of Kittery Point.

She enjoyed crocheting, making many blankets over the years. She was an avid reader and had collections of books she enjoyed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her garden(which included blueberries to pick for her family) and sharing pictures of her beautiful flowers she grew. She also enjoyed family gatherings and holidays where she was able to catch up and spend time with everyone she loved

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Emily Criner, son-n law, Chris Criner, grandson, Christopher Criner II, granddaughters, Kiana and Alyssa Criner, great granddaughter, Jihana Criner,. mother, Rose Beach (husband, John) Sisters, Mary Shaw, Patricia Pirkl (Partner, Adam Hastey), Ann Roots (husband, Bob), Diane Lewis (husband, David), niece, Alisha Phipps, nephews, Jason and Jacob Gordon, Christopher and Alexander Pirkl, Joseph Gerry, Devon Lewis and many great nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her father, Donald Gerry, sister, Peggy Gerry and nephew Thomas Roots.
