Nancy Catherine Givan

Nancy (Cox) Givan, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday March 27, 2023 at her home. She was born in Grant County WV and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Mongold) Cox. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Mary Mauzy, Polly Alt, Annalee Bible, and Junior Cox. Nancy was a CNA at Grant County Rehabilitation and Care Center for 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, as well as sewing and crocheting. Nancy loved her entire family and will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years, Les Givan, and her children: Mathew Givan (Kim), Kimberly (Givan) Thomas, and Jason Givan (Samantha). Nancy is also survived by her brother, Wayne Cox, as well as seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
