Nancy Grantham Obituary
Nancy was born on July 27, 1943. She graduated from Camdenton High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri. She was a dedicated and respected English teacher who taught in several Lake of the Ozarks area High Schools throughout her career. Nancy was an active member of the University of Missouri Alumni Association and was an avid tennis player. After retiring from teaching, she enjoyed social time with her family and friends, reading, and supporting the local library.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, James Grantham, and her parents, Carl and Dorothy Simons. She is survived by her brother, Richard Simons, her three sons, Scott (Carol), Jonathan (Angela) and Stephen (Tara), six grandchildren, Ashley (David), Sarah (Phillip), Kellen, Quinn, Joseph (Courtney) and Nathan (Adasia), and five great-grandchildren, Zane, Paxen, Xavier, Maklyn, and Elias.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home Camdenton.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Nancy's name to Operation Christmas Child at Samaritan's Purse.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.

The Dawson Family sends our sincerest sympathy and condolences to Nancy´s Family. She and her family were Dear friends and neighbors in Eldon. So many wonderful memories involving our families! Did not realize she had 5 great grandchildren! We know for a fact that Nancy was a greatly respected and dedicated English and literature teacher at Eldon HS. With that in mind; we´d like to make a donation, in Nancy´s name, to our Dawson Family Eldon HS Scholarship Fund.

Sending my condolences to the family. I didn't know Nancy, but after reading her obituary, I wish I had known her. What an amazing woman she was! I know she will be missed by all who knew her and were blessed by her goodness.
