Nancy Dyer Hedden

Nancy Dyer Hedden, age 87 of Dalton, Ga. Passed away February 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 4, 1936, in Murphy, NC. to the late Henry & Nola West Dyer and named after her grandmother Nancy Trammel West. She is preceded in death by a son, Larry Hedden; daughter, Sandra Hedden; Sisters, Lorene Monkus, Bessie Simpson and Geneva Worley Brothers Willard Dyer, Carl Dyer, Allen Dyer, Jimmy Dyer, David (Buck) Dyer and Johnny Dyer.
She is survived by sons Dean (Lisa) Hedden; Matt Hedden; Jimmy (Brooke) Hedden all of Dalton; Sisters Mildred Woods and Deloris (Dot) Guthrie of Murphy, NC and Frances Anderson of Dalton, GA, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to friends and caregiver Trudy (Mark) Stepp.
Visitation will be held at Dalton Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 with Pastor Frank Cronan officiating. Interment will be at the United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
