Nancy Higgins

Nancy Lynn Higgins, was born on August 3, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA, and departed from us on September 16, 2025. A vibrant and spirited woman, she was a beacon of warmth and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy's witty sense of humor was infectious, and her thoughtful nature made her an anchor in the lives of her loved ones. She was the kind of person whose presence was felt even in the quietest moments - a testament to her enduring spirit and loving heart.

Raised in Philadelphia, Nancy never strayed far from her roots, spending 65 years in the city she called home. Her career in banking at Wells Fargo spanned several decades, and she retired in 2023. However, Nancy's accomplishments extended far beyond her professional life. She was a dedicated and adored wife to Vincent Sr., whom she married on October 6, 1989. She was also a cherished mother to, Joseph (Angelina) Roughton, Vincent Jr., and Christine (Tim) and a doting grandmother to her beloved grandchildren: Joey, Matthew, Christopher, Gianna, Timmy, Audrina, Bella, MJ, and Elena. Nancy's world revolved around her family. Her love for them was evident in her passion for spending time with her grandchildren and tending to her garden - a symbol of her nurturing spirit and enduring love.

Nancy is survived by her husband Vincent Sr., her children Joseph, Vincent Jr. and Christine, her grandchildren, her brother Michael, nephews Richard and Matt, plus many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Marylou, and her sisters Sue, Kathy, and Sandy. Nancy positively impacted so many lives, and she will be remembered with love and fondness by all who knew her.

You are invited to remember and celebrate Nancy's life on Monday, September 22, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Her service will follow 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's request.
