Nancy Ann Jenks
It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Ann Jenks, who left us peacefully on April 25, 2025, just days before her 89th birthday.
Born April 29, 1936, to the late Frank and Mary Sawicki, and preceded in death by her sister Carole Sawicki, Nancy lived a life marked by devotion to family, faith, education, and community. She was a proud graduate of Michigan State University and a dedicated educator for many years.
Nancy married the late Raymond L. Jenks in 1961, and together they built a wonderful family. They raised three children: Raymond Jenks (Donna), Carole Higgins (Jeff), and Matthew Jenks (Terri). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Dylan, Emily, Ryan, Mary (Daniel), Samantha (Randy), Nathan (Alexa), Drew and Grace - and through her cherished great grandchildren, Parker and Jacob.
A funeral Mass celebrating Nancy's life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 11:30 am (in state 11am) at Holy Family Catholic Church 24505 Meadowbrook Rd. Novi, MI. The funeral mass will be live streamed.
Nancy will be laid to rest privately at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, joining generations of family and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice, whose compassionate care provided comfort in her final days. Please keep the family in your prayers during this very difficult time.
