Nancy Ryan (Hall) Jerdee
91, of Chandler, AZ, passed away February 12, 2024. She was born in Akron, OH, 1932, moved to Phoenix in 1941, then to Chandler in 1948, graduating from Chandler High School in 1950. She attended Arizona State University and University of Arizona, and married Robert Alvah Hall, Jr. on 1951.
She and Robert lived in Panama for a time before returning to make Chandler their permanent home. She was active in Chandler Service Club, American Field Service, the P.E.O sisterhood, including serving as Arizona and International Chapter presidents. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday school and served on the vestry and multiple parish committees. She was a Girl Scout leader and shared her love of hiking with family and friends for many years.
She married Charles Andrew Jerdee in 1993 and they enjoyed golfing, dancing, friends, and traveling in the U.S. and overseas. Chandler Historical Society honored her as an Outstanding Woman of Chandler in 2012.
She is survived by her children, David (Teresa), Tim (Katherine), and Susan Jerdee Omerza (Ted), and six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, Barry (Pam) Jerdee and Andrew (Sandy) Jerdee and their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David F. and Florence Ryan; brother Robert Ryan; Charles Andrew Jerdee and by son-in-law Randy Guy Jerdee.
A Memorial Mass will be held on April 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 901 W. Erie, Chandler, AZ 85225.
