Nancy Jane Kerr

Nancy Jane Kerr, born on February 11, 1936, passed away on December 30, 2025. Born in Butler, Ohio, Nancy was the daughter of the late Samuel Nagel Kerr and Elizabeth Ann Kerr Gaines.
Nancy was a proud graduate and valedictorian of Butler High School. She went on to become a registered nurse, dedicating her professional life to caring for others at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Her long and impactful nursing career reflected her compassion, intelligence, and unwavering commitment to service.
Nancy lived life with energy and joy. She enjoyed traveling, playing tennis, and expressing her creativity at the piano. For 22 years, she shared her life with her devoted partner, Joe Nardo. Together they created many cherished memories with family and friends in Warren, Ohio, traveled to Navy reunions, and enjoyed meaningful visits with friends along the way. Nancy will be remembered as a kind, positive, and active person whose presence brought warmth to those around her.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her brother Samuel Dennis Kerr and her sister Sally Kerr Alexander. She is survived by her sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service honoring Nancy's life will be held in the spring of this year.
