Nancy Klebig Obituary

Nancy J. Klebig

May 29, 1953 - January 4, 2025

Nancy Klebig, age 71, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, after a 12 year battle with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Nancy was born in Kenosha, Wis., to George and Lois Bergren. Nancy married Steven Klebig of Kenosha, Wis., on March 21, 1975. They later built their forever home in New Lisbon, Wis.

Nancy was an avid walker and loved playing golf. She was a great cribbage player and was known to beat her husband ALL THE TIME! After moving up north, she began her love for gardening and making sure all the deer were fed. She loved watching wildlife from her windows. She was a true animal lover. The neighbors' dogs would even sneak away through the woods, making their way to their regular treats from Nancy. She loved to explore fine dining with her husband and friends which included her favorite restaurants Ishnala Supper Club, The Del Bar, and Kaminski's Chop House.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Steven Klebig; along with two children, Larry (Melissa) Owens, Katie (Frank) Klebig; three grandchildren, Stevie Joy Roscioli, Amanda (Ryan) Herzog, Crystal (Sean) Fusco; two great-grandchildren, Sean and Alivia Hill; and three sisters, Jan Oswalt, Linda Bergren-York, Gayle (Don) Brown; and sister-in-law, Kathy (Paul) Roemer.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lois Bergren; and two brothers-in-law, Kelly Oswalt and David York.

A visitation for Nancy will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
