Nancy Norris Kneece, age 70 died on Tuesday January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Nancy had the ability to make anyone feel comfortable in any situation. She was always there when anyone needed help and she was happy to help, even when she was struggling herself. She collected clouds and unusual names. And she hated movie sequels and prequels, remakes and tv adaptations. She was generous, compassionate and funny, but she also took no crap from anyone. Her sarcastic wit and dark humor kept us all on our toes. She also tended to curse easily, choosing to believe the scientific study that stated people who curse were more intelligent, had a wider friend base and a better vocabulary than those who didn't say bad words. But everyone who ever met her knew there was something special about Nancy. Her loss will impact numerous people and she will always be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her parents, Odell Norris and Margaret Kirkland Norris, as well as her brother, Kenneth "Buddy" Norris.
She leaves behind her husband of 29 years, James Kneece, Sr., two children, James "Bullet" Kneece, Jr. (Stacy) and Amy Nicole Fallaw; three grandsons, Seth Fallaw, Shelton Fallaw, and William Fallaw.
At Nancy's request there will be no formal service.
