Nancy K. Kocken, 49, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Friday, March 15, 2024.
She was born November 24, 1974, to Jim and Bonnie (Janz) Dunks.
Nancy graduated from West De Pere High School in 1993. She further obtained a degree in computer science from NWTC. She held various positions in computer technology before obtaining her real estate license. In typical Nancy fashion, being outgoing and determined, she took this leap to pursue her dream career to help people find their forever home.
Nancy's hobbies included traveling, being in nature, and spending time with family. Any chance she had, she never hesitated to jump on a plane to soak up the sun at the beach. While she loved her career and hobbies, what gave her the most joy was being a mother and grandmother. Nancy loved her two boys, Jacob and Bryce, more than words could ever describe, and was later blessed with the gift of a grandson, Henry. These boys were her whole world. Family always came first for Nancy, whether it was sitting at the ball park watching her boys play baseball or being the first one to volunteer to watch Henry. She was a very selfless person, always putting others first.
Nancy is survived by her children Jacob and Bryce, along with their father Marty Kocken; her grandson Henry; parents Jim and Bonnie Dunks; siblings Lola (Chad) Thomson, Krissy (Steve) DeMoulin, and Kenny (Brittany) Dunks; nieces and nephews Mac, Alexa, Alanna, Adriana, Kaden, and Cody; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 3:00PM – 7:00PM Friday, March 22, 2024. Fr. Paul Paider will preside at 7:00PM for a service for Nancy.
