Sandra A. Bryfczynski, age 78 of De Pere, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. She was born on February 3, 1947, in Green Bay. Following high school, she attended Alverno College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree as a Medical Technologist. Sandi worked for St. Mary Hospital as a Medical Technologist for her entire career. On July 11, 1970, she married Eugene Bryfczynski, and they spent over fifty years together before he passed on January 21, 2022. Sandi loved all Wisconsin sports, Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed going camping in Door County. She also enjoyed going to shows at The Meyer Theatre with her good friend, Kathy Emmel, going on outings with her grief group and doing her arts and crafts. She took pleasure in nature around her, watching the hummingbirds and cardinals outside on her feeders. Above all, she loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sandi just wanted her children to be happy in their lives.
She is survived by her children; Sara Bryfczynski, Steve Bryfczynski, Mark (Denise) Brefczynski and Christine (Michael) Casperson, grandchildren; Jacob, Jonah, Cliff (Sandy), Jason (Mary), Dana, Amanda (Michael) Kurtis and Taylor (Jonah). Sandi is further survived by five great grandchildren, one great great grandson, her special cousin, Diane Arribas as well as other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her mother, Mary Binkowski, husband Eugene, daughter, Kathy (Bill) Kroll, son, Peter Bryfczynski, and grandson, Chad Olson.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm, Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her memory.
