Nancy Ellen Lepping

Nancy "Nan" Ellen Lepping, 68, passed away April 25, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born on November 23, 1956 in Houston, Texas to Wilbur and Wanda (Roof) Leonhart. She lived in Houston, Texas for 8 years, before moving to Salina, Kansas.
She graduated from Salina Central High School and Brown Mackie Business School.
Nancy lived a full and happy life. She had a contagious smile and a kind soul.
She loved playing BINGO, going to the Casino, fishing, drinking Pepsi, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, riding on the back of a Harley, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a very proud mother and grandmother, and Aunt Nan to all her nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own.
If you knew Nancy, consider yourself lucky, as she would always leave you with a smile and hold a special place in your heart.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Swolenky; sons, Travis (Amanda) Swolensky, Robert Lepping Jr. of Salina, Kansas; grandchildren, Hunter Swolensky, Bradley Lepping, Braden Lepping of Salina, Kanas; brother, Gerald "Jerry" Leonhart of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and sister, Loretta Childers of Olathe, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Lepping; sister, Patricia "Patty" Griggs; brother, Joe Leonhart; brother-in-law, Jerry Griggs; and sister-in-law, Virgina "Ginny" Leonhart.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2025, at Carlson-Geisendorf funeral home 500 S Ohio St; Salina Kansas.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at First United Methodist Church 122 N 8th St Salina, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Marfan Foundation in care of Carlson- Geisendorf Funeral Home.
