Nancy Long, 86, of Bourne, formerly of Natick, MA passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Natick, MA on July 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Helen (Skinner) Long.
She was an art teacher in the Natick school system for many decades. She was an avid traveler visiting many parts of the world. She spent much of her retirement crafting and baking.
Nancy is predeceased by her sister Jean Sefton ( d. 2019) and son George E. Long (d.2023). She is survived by her granddaughter Simone Long and daughter-in-law Sonia Long of Wales, ME and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at John Everett and Sons Funeral home on June 9, 2025, from 3-6pm followed by a prayer service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick will be held on June 10, 2025, at 10:30am for family.

On behalf of the Catholic Memorial forensics alumni from 40 years ago, I offer prayers for Nancy's repose and for the consolation of her family. She was a wonderful colleague to me and was very good to our boys.
