It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Lee Lovelis on December 2, 2025, in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Nancy was born February 21, 1936, in Oklahoma City to Arthur Richardson and Phoebe Berg. When she was young her family moved to the Los Angeles, California area where she spent her childhood. She graduated from Montebello High School in 1954.
In California, she met the love of her life Robert Lovelis and they were married on February 1, 1955, in the Baptist Church of Norwalk, California. They had two daughters Debbie and Cyndi. In 1960 they moved to Utah and settled in West Bountiful. They were soon introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and were sealed with their two daughters in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She faithfully served in many callings in The Church.
Nancy and Bob loved to travel and journeyed many places in their fifth-wheel with loved ones, visiting more friends and family along their way. They were also avid genealogists and spent countless hours compiling and digitizing ancestral photos and other memorabilia for future generations to cherish. Nancy loved to crochet and made many beautiful blankets for every family member to treasure.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Cyndi Hill of Royersford, PA, and her son-in-law Vic Lewis of Woodland Hills, UT, as well as nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Arthur and Phoebe, her sister Phoebe Kyle, brother Arthur Richardson Jr, daughter Debbie Lewis and son-in-law Stephan Jay Bown.
The Lovelis Family would like to thank Jamie and Marti with Visiting Angels, Lexie and the other wonderful staff at Renew Home Health and Hospice, and her care team at Legacy House of Spanish Fork.
Viewing services will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Highline Ward LDS Chapel, 1129 South 250 West, Salem, Utah, with funeral services following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Salem City Cemetery.
Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes prior to services and will be posted below.
