Bryant Funeral Homes & Crematory - GorhamNancy T. Lowe, 83, of Gorham, passed away on February 18, 2026, after a period of declining health. Born in Lisbon, New Hampshire, on February 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Thelma (French) Mardin. Nancy grew up in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School with the Class of 1960. Following her marriage to her husband, Larry, she made her home in the Gorham area. Over the years, Nancy held a variety of positions, including employment with Story Land, Mt. Washington, Shaw’s Supermarket, and J.C. Penney. She also spent time babysitting and, in her younger years, worked as a telephone operator. In her free time, she was active in Girl Scouts and enjoyed being involved in her community. Nancy was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and most recently attended the Gorham Congregational Church. Above all else, she was deeply devoted to her family and was especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Sarah of Clarksville, Christine Kenison and her husband, Leland, of Berlin, Deborah Devoid and her husband, George, of Goffstown, Dana Lowe and his wife, Amy, of Northfield, and Jeremy Lowe and his partner, Ken, of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Christine Boutilier of Weatherford, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Lowe, and her son, Steven Lowe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11 AM at Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham. Interment will follow at Mt. Hayes Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Anyone who wishes may make donations in Nancy’s memory to Coos County Nursing Home Activities Fund, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH 03570.
