Nancy Mae Lucchese
May 13, 1955 – October 16, 2025
Nancy Mae Lucchese entered eternal rest peacefully at home in Clayton, California, on October 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born to Robert and Annabelle Earl and raised in Oakland, California. At the age of 15, she was given her first horse, Boo, by her parents. At Skyline Ranch, where her horse was boarded, she met and fell in love with her future husband, Peter Lucchese. Nancy and Peter settled in Clayton, California, in 1976, where they raised their family and shared a life rooted in faith and family values. She was a person full of love, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Peter, and their three sons: Peter Lucchese and his wife, Katherine, along with their daughters, Kaylen and Briana; son Matthew Lucchese; and son Jess Lucchese and his wife, Nicole, with their children, Brady, Annabelle, and Lillian. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Diane; her brother, Bobby; and many extended family members and friends.
Nancy was a woman of Catholic faith, and for 26 years she gave her time teaching catechism at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, nurturing the spiritual growth of children, and preparing them for First Communion.
Nancy dedicated 38 years of her professional life to working at Lucky Supermarket, where her strong work ethic and kind spirit made a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.
Passionate about family history, Nancy enjoyed researching her genealogy, preserving the stories and legacy of those who came before her. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and her cherished dogs, Claire and Doo.
Nancy touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to
Shriner's Hospital.
