Stephanie E. Lucchese, 68, of Holmdel, died on Monday, February 24.
Stephanie was born and raised in Staten Island to the late Patricia and Walter Erdle in 1956.
She was a graduate of Port Richmond High School. Stephanie married her husband Paul and they began their family in Staten Island, and moved to Holmdel where they continued raising their children together.
She had a natural gift for cooking, gathering ingredients to make her own special dishes for the family. Stephanie also enjoyed a few hobbies throughout her life including crotchet, stain glass, baking (especially Christmas cookies), and decorating for the holidays.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her siblings Jon Torgolson, Joan Evans, and Alfred Erdle.
Stephanie is survived by her loving husband Paul Lucchese; her children Matthew and his wife Laurel Lucchese of Tinton Falls, Melissa and her fiancé Mark Lietzau of Hackettstown, and Adam Lucchese of Holmdel; and her two beloved grandchildren Evan and Anna.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 27 from 4pm – 6:30pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral home service will be offered at 6:30pm.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, Stephanie's family asks with gratitude that donations in her memory be made to the National MS Society () or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ()
