Nancy E Masullo

Nancy E. Masullo (Hoy), 68, of Centre Hall, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 12, 2025. Born in Bellefonte, on April 13, 1957, she was the daughter of Earl M. Hoy of Pleasant Gap and the late Ethel A. Hoy (Grove). On February 14, 1994, in Centre Hall, she married the love of her life, David R. Masullo, who survives at home.
Nancy graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1975. Until 2008, she had worked as a banking accountant for more than 30 years, for what started as Central Counties Bank, then became Mellon Bank, and finally Omega Financial.
Nancy attended the Beavertown God's Missionary Church online. She loved having calves present on their farmette, along with lots of other animals, including cats and dogs. She enjoyed spending her time crafting and creating things, especially crocheting. She was a fighter that fought the good fight with many health issues over the years. As a child she was always daring and cantankerous, so it only made sense that as an adult, she fought with the same tenacity. She had a love for her family and was a kind woman, always offering to help others in any way that she could. Her memory will live on in those she loved and cherished.
Along with her father and husband, Nancy is survived by her son, Bryan R. Masullo of Centre Hall; her six siblings, Helen Packer (David) of Pleasant Gap, Harold Hoy (Shelby) of PA Furnace, Judy Brown (Byron) of Bellefonte, Hope Wenzel (Joseph) of Pleasant Gap, Rachel Unger (James) of State College, and Denise Geissinger of Bellefonte; numerous nieces and nephews; and her mother in-law, Virginia Masullo of Centre Hall.
Along with her mother, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Zies and father in-law, John R. Masullo.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 10am – 12 noon at the Barbara Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon with Pastor Solomon Shaffer officiating. She will be laid to rest privately at the Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.
