Warren Hills Memorial Home - WashingtonNancy Lee Maxwell, 74, of Easton, PA, and previously of Washington, NJ, passed away on September 10, 2025, at Northampton Post Acute in Easton, PA. She was born on December 9, 1950, in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Raymond J. Maxwell and Lola Marie Maxwell (née Herrick).
Nancy was a graduate of Eastside High School in Paterson, Class of 1968, and later received her nursing certificate from Warren County Vo-Tech. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Heath Village Nursing Home in Hackettstown, New Jersey, until her retirement in 2015.
Beyond her career, Nancy found joy in creativity and service. She enjoyed working on ceramics, served as a Brownie leader, and had a true passion for cooking.
She is survived by her children, Mark M. Maxwell (Kenneth), Steven J. Maxwell (Erica), Melissa Ann Maxwell (Robin), and Brad E. Maxwell. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Nancy was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Matthew Maxwell.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service celebrating Nancy’s life will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
