Nancy Mayerson Obituary
CINCINNATI -- Nancy Sue (Cohen) Mayerson, age 75, passed away January 17, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born March 14, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio to Sadie (Kanfer) and David Cohen, who preceded her in death.
Nancy married David on June 23, 1968 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was an active member and former President of Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek and a Pharmacy Tech for many years in Lima, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late David Paul Mayerson, devoted mother of Joel (Connie) Mayerson, Lynn (Joel) Kling, Bob (Debbi) Mayerson, and Randy (Melissa) Mayerson, sister of Larry and Harvey Cohen, loving grandmother of Drew and Ethan Mayerson, Shayna and Adam Kling, Jacob and Samantha Mayerson, Megan (Devin) Sult, and Eliana Mayerson. Loving great-grandmother of Cohen Michael Sult, Aunt of Joan (David) Kull and Marla Mayerson.
Also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Sloan and Seth Mayerson.
Services at Chiles Laman Funeral Home, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, Ohio, Friday, January 20th. Visitation will begin at 10:00am ET followed by a service at 11:00am ET. Interment at Shaare Zedek Cemetery on Merlin Avenue west of Woodlawn Cemetery, immediately following service. Friends may call on the Mayerson Family at Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek in Lima after interment from 1pm-3pm ET.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Steps for Sarcoma, 241 West 11th Avenue Suite 6081, Columbus, Ohio 43201 with fund code #314006, the David and Nancy Mayerson Fund at Adath Israel Congregation, 3201 E. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

I didn´t know Nancy real well but we shared the same entrepreneurial spirit and were always sharing what the other was up to when we would bump into each other or I would see her at Rite Aid. She had a Weekenders party for me years ago when we were neighbors. I will always cherish her kindness and positive spirit and love for others.
