Nancy McAlister McInnis, 99, of Rockingham, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by family and caregivers.

Other travels included Singapore to visit her nephew; Scotland with a group of friends from Rockingham; Israel with a travel group; Germany to visit friends; and Australia and New Zealand with her granddaughter. There were few countries untouched by Nancy. Aside from international travel, she took many trips to North and South Carolina beaches and yearly trips to Florida.
Nancy deeply loved spending time with her family, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and considered them her greatest joys. She spent many hours freezing, canning, cooking, and feeding her family and friends.
