Nancy Ann Samson McKee, 86, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at her residence. Her husband, Ralph McKee, survives. They were married on March 28, 1959. She was born March 28, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Clifton Samson and Dorothy Rockwell Samson. She was a graduate of Eaton High School and attended Miami University.
Mrs. McKee had worked in payroll and was a comptometer operator at Inland Industries in Dayton. She was also a founder and owner of McKee Machine Tool Corporation in Wilmington. Nancy enjoyed bowling, roller coasters, trail riding, walking and hiking, reading, and sewing. She had been a 4-H advisor and a PTA member. She was also an election poll worker for many years.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by four daughters, Vicki Lee McKee, Donna Kay (Jim) Burnett, Joy Helton, and Janet (Eric) Cole; a brother, John Samson; her grandchildren, Douglas (Kate) Haase, Lauren Haase, Megann (Danny) Warszewik, Zach (Ally) Helton, Lexi McKee-Cole, and Dylan Cole; and a great-grandson, Dorian James Haase.
A graveside service in Sugar Grove Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the James Cancer Center c/o Dr. Prevedello's research, P.O. Box 710811, Columbus, Ohio 43271.
