Nancy Corrine (Curbow) Minear

Seymour, Missouri

Nancy Corrine Minear, 83 years, 6 months, 5 days old, passed away on August 22, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Nancy was born February 17, 1942, in Walnut Shade, Missouri to LaVon Opal Achor and John Coker.

Nancy graduated from Nixa High School in 1960. She became a Nurses Assistant caring for many people. For five years she owned and opperated a nursing home in Springfield, Missouri.

She married Raymond Leo Curbow in 1960 and together they were blessed with six children. Raymond passed away and years later she married James Minear on June 4, 1994, in Ozark, Missouri. They were blessed with many years of marriage and caring for their great grandchild Harmony Johnson. James passed away in 2018.

Nancy was a Christian and attended the Seymour Nazarene Church with James for several years. She enjoyed cooking, thrift store shopping, caring for people, and spending time with her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Raymond Curbow and James Minear; two daughters, Nancy Lea Manes and Terri Hahn; grandson, Zachary Curbow, and sister, Beulah Curbow.

Nancy is survived by her children; Raymond & Kelly Curbow, Randy Curbow, Sharon Kay Curbow, and Alice Marie Stockdale and husband, Melvin; sister, Rosea Holder, sister in-law, Carol Willhite; five step children, Georgia Powell, Wes Minear, Dale Minear, Myla Stone and Terri Minear; many grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

Graveside services for Nancy will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Delaware Cemetery, Delaware Town Road, Nixa, Missouri. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri.
