Nancy Mottram Obituary
Nancy Mottram was born on September 13, 1966, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Julian and Linda Perry. She grew up surrounded by her loving brothers - Richard, Lee, Joseph, and Daniel Perry - and a close-knit family that valued hard work, laughter, and togetherness.
As a child, Nancy loved baking, sewing, and spending time with her parents and grandparents. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, often assisting with the family's lawn care business while growing up. Those early years instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep love for family that carried throughout her life.
In her late teens and early twenties, Nancy enjoyed fun times with her friend Missi. Most of those adventures were not G-rated, so we'll leave those stories out.
Nancy dedicated over 30 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion, patience, and genuine kindness touched the lives of countless people throughout her career.
On November 16, 1996, Nancy married Richard Mottram, and together they built a life filled with love and family. She was a devoted mother to her children - Krystal, Savannah, Zachary, and Tievoli - and a proud grandmother to Caleb, Brandon, Brianna, Emma, Xander, Asher, Diamond, and Matthias.
As an adult, Nancy especially enjoyed hosting family meals. It was always a houseful of organized chaos with all her siblings, children, and grandchildren, along with a few extra friends who joined along. Her home was a place of laughter, love, and togetherness, reflecting the heart and warmth she shared with everyone around her.
Nancy will always be remembered for her caring heart, warm smile, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.
