Nancy R Murray

MEXICO, NY - Nancy R. Murray, 88, of Mexico, NY; passed away peacefully February 5, 2025 at St. Luke in Oswego., NY. She was born Nancy Lynette Ramsey to John H. and Mildred P. Ramsey November 4, 1936 at Oswego hospital.
Nancy was a true daughter of Mexico, having lived her entire life here. She was very active in extracurricular activities at Mexico high school and later she met and married Edward H. Murray in 1958. In 1968, they adopted their only child Amy M. Murray, MD, from South Korea.
Nancy drove school bus for 10 years, which she highly enjoyed. Most notably she was a devout parishioner of Mexico Methodist Church, where her generosity of spirit was expressed through all her church activities.
She also was an avid animal lover, wishing for a farm, but contented to be nestled at home with her family, pets and wildlife.
Spring Graveside Services will be celebrated at a time to be announced in Mexico Village Cemetery, Mexico, NY. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. Mexico, NY.
