Nancy Ann Peace of Kensett, Arkansas (83 years old) went to her reward, on Sunday July 21st with family in attendance. She was born January 19,1941 in Hornersville, Missouri.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was to have her family around her. She loved them unconditionally and was fearless in their defense if needed. Known to her grandchildren as Meko, she was always there with a listening ear and a warm hug. She came up during a time when self-reliance was required, and she succeeded exceptionally well in this while caring for and loving her family.
She worked at Vickers and Medic Sav-On Drug and enjoyed doing yard work. She was loved dearly by her family and will be missed.
She is survived by her brother Glenlee Hyde; son, Larry Dabbs and wife, Darlene; daughter, Roxie Hargrove and significant other, Bert Bell; daughter, Sharon Matthis and husband, Brent; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arley and Edna Hyde; sister, Barbara Peace; brothers, Buel Hyde, Lonnie Hyde, David Hyde, Jerry Hyde, Ricky Hyde; sister, Elizabeth Hyde; granddaughter, Cody Hargrove; and son-in law, Eddie Hargrove.
A visitation will be held at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Kensett Cemetery. Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
